The Story Behind the Collaboration between Nike and Travis Scott
Nike and hip-hop artist Travis Scott entered into a collaboration in 2017. There was plenty of hype surrounding the collaboration before it even started. It turned out to be one of the most influential collaborations in Nike's history. The Air Jordan Trunner LX "Cactus Jack" was the first release in a long line of releases. It was initially only released to friends and family. The first official release we saw was in connection with the 35th anniversary of the Air Force 1. Nike and Travis Scott released the AF100 with interchangeable swoosh logos. It marked the beginning of one of the most sought-after collabs in recent years. Nike/Air Jordan and Travis Scott subsequently released many of the iconic Air Jordan models with Travis's own touch. The collaboration included releases of the Air Jordan 1, 4, 6, 33, Air Force 1, Air Max 270 React, and the incredibly popular Nike SB Dunk.
